摘要
Considering that quasars evolve into normal galaxies, the average expansion velocity of matter in quasars (or galaxies) can approximately be estimated. Such velocity makes us see the light of quasars slightly Doppler shifted, which explains the supposed variation of the fine structure constant. (C) 2011 Physics Essays Publication.
