It was shown that the dynamic structure model employed in the paper by V. M. Syutkin "Mechanism of Oxygen Diffusion on Poly(methyl methacrylate) Films" for the computer simulation of oxygen diffusion in a glassy polymer can be reduced to a system of differential kinetic equations which describe the experimental data. Possible reasons for some deviations between the solution of the system of equations and the results from computer simulation are discussed.
