摘要
The purposes of this study were to examine relationships between trait anxiety and life satisfaction in disabled athletes. Eighty-six disabled athletes voluntarily and individually completed Trait Anxiety Inventory and Life Satisfaction Questionnaire in this research. The mean (SD) age was 29.28 +/- 9.26 years, height was 1.64 +/- 0.06 m, body weight was 64.10 +/- 9.22 kg, and degree of disability was 43.90 +/- 20.64 percentage for the 86 disabled athletes. There were significant negative correlations between trait anxiety and life satisfaction (P<0.05). Also, there were significant negative correlations between degree of disability and life satisfaction (P<0.05). But there were significant positive correlations between trait anxiety and degree of disability (P<0.05). In conclusion, this study shows that there was relationship between the trait anxiety and life satisfaction of the disability athletes. Trait anxiety decreases when life satisfaction scores increase. Our results can be considered to be calmer in the face of events of disability athletes who have life satisfaction.
