摘要:
High density and high light yield are prerequisites for the application of scintillating glass to the actual. In this paper, the Ce3+/Tb3+ co-doped scintillating glasses were prepared by high temperature melting method with high density gadolinium borosilicate as matrix. The influence of the prepared atmosphere (oxidizing atmosphere and CO reducing atmosphere) on the luminous intensity and its mechanism were analyzed. The regularity and mechanism of luminous intensity with the change of cerium ion concentration were studied. The results show that the luminous intensity of glasses produced in the reducing atmosphere is higher than that of oxidizing atmosphere, and the Ce3+ of the maximum amount of the doping contents is also more than that of oxidizing atmosphere. When the composition of the matrix is unchanged and the content of terbium ions is certain, the maximum size of the doping concentration of cerium ions in the glass is related to the melting atmosphere of the glass.
