Sequential multistep energy transfer: enhancement of efficiency of long-range fluorescence resonance energy transfer

摘要
The efficiency of long-range (ca. 80 Angstrom) fluorescence energy transfer was enhanced about 1.5 times by a third chromophore located midway between two chromophores, which suggests sequential multistep energy transfer across the three chromophores.
