摘要
Based on the Dyadic Wavelet Transform, the image segmentation problems are described with the theorem of Multi-resolution analysis. According to the character of wavelet transform, it proposed the principle of image segmentation based on wavelet transform of the histogram of an image, that adopting level structure with multi-resolution and multi-scale to treat tactics from course to refined segmentation, thereby choosing the best threshold to segment the original image effectively. Experimental results demonstrate that this algorithm is valid during segmenting complicated images.
