摘要
In the present study, magnetic properties of barium ferrite foams were investigated. We especially examine the effects of porosity on interparticle interactions and remanence properties of these materials. It was observed that magnets become harder with porosity. On the other hand, saturation magnetization decreases slightly. Existence of porosities increases the strength of demagnetising-like interactions of neighboring particles. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd.
