摘要
New public management (NPM), management techniques and practices, drawn mainly from the private sector, is increasingly seen as a global phenomenon. NPM reforms shift the emphasis from traditional public administration to public management. Human resources have the special role seeking the better effectiveness of public sector. Human resource management (HRM) is one of the major areas in the modernization of public services. The paper is structured as follows: firstly, the paper describes the main aspects and key components of New public management, secondly, it presents the main change trends of the HR system management emphasizing job satisfaction.
