Analysis on the Influence of Foreign Direct Investment on Industrial Structure of Hebei Province

Balanced development of industrial structure is a key factor to promote regional coordinated economic development. This paper examines the basic situation of industrial structure, the development of foreign direct investment, the features of industrial distribution of foreign direct investment and its positive and negative effects on the industrial structure of Hebei Province through the methods of theory, research and interview of modern economics and management: Then it puts forward that the economic crisis shows the disadvantages of unbalanced industrial structure more clearly, and this paper also puts forward that it is the unbalanced development of industrial structure that has become one of the main inhibiting factors for the regional coordinated economic development in Hebei Province. Finally, it draws the following conclusions: at present, attracting investments from overseas should be guided by government control; the key for secondary industry to utilize foreign investment is the quality but not the quantity; the existing pressure of unemployment can be eased by enlarging scale and quantity of foreign direct investment on tertiary industry, and by upgrading of industrial structure of Hebei Province will be promoted.
