摘要
The article introduces the most probable course of development of intelligence in the near future, as well as the increasing importance of open source intelligence (OSINT) The most significant advantage of OSINT is the complete absence of violation of human rights and legislation OSINT covers the entire process, including research, differentiation, selection, and dissemination of data in order to implement all four stages of the intelligence process, in which experienced analysts are inevitable, i e, a necessity OSINT is not a replacement for the classical clandestine activities of the intelligence services, OSINT accelerates access to important data for subscribers, as well as for users In addition, OSINT can improve the identification of asymmetric threats and the ability of classical intelligence activities to obtain genuine clandestine data The second part of the article presents unique research carried out among two different groups (students and experienced analysts), whereby OSINT was applied for identifying and describing the political and security situation in Kosovo The research verified the increasing importance of OSINT and the need for the involvement of experienced analysts
