摘要
Based on the theory of charged particles in the electrostatic field and the particle collision theory, the simulation of a small deflection energy analyzer is carried out by using the multi physical field simulation software COMSOL to detect thermospheric atmosphere. The highest working pressure of the energy analyzer is simulated and calculated, and the ion trajectories and energy resolution of the ions under different ion energies are calculated. The influence of different ion beam incidence angles on the energy resolution of the analyzer is simulated and analyzed. The results show that the particle collisions can be ignored under the pressure below 10(-2) Pa. Moreover, reducing the size of the ion beam outlet slit is helpful to improve the energy resolution of the analyzer. The simulation results can provide theoretical support for the development of thermospheric sounding apparatusr.
