Successive paraelectric-antiferroelectric-ferroelectric phase transitions of wet-chemically prepared PbHo1/2Nb1/2O3

Evidence is presented for successive paraelectric-antiferroelectric-ferroelectric phase transitions of wet-chemically prepared PbHo1/2Nb1/2O3 ceramics. Details are given of measurements of superlattice reflection, dielectric constant, lattice parameters, specific heat capacity, and polarisation-electric field hysteresis. It was observed that, in ordered PbHo1/2Nb1/2O3, there is dielectric dispersion associated with the antiferroelectric-ferroelectric transition in the temperature range -120 degrees C similar to - 110 degrees C.
