Critical magnetic properties of disordered Cr-rich FeCr alloys

摘要
A detailed analysis of high-resolution magnetisation data reveal that the critical behaviour of chemically well-homogenised high-purity disordered Cr70Fe30 and Cr75Fe25 alloys near the paramagnetic (PM)-ferromagnetic (FM) phase transition is similar to that of a three-dimensional Heisenberg ferromagnet. An ion-beam sputtered Cr70OFe30 thin film of 9.4 nm thickness exhibits the same critical behaviour as that of the bulk Cr70Fe30. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
