摘要
(Figure Presented) Base jumping: A long-lived charge-separated state has been generated in high yield for DNA modified with a diphenylacetylene derivative (DPA) through an adenine (A)-base-hopping mechanism (see diagram). Modulation of the redox properties of the photosensitizer and bridge bases (e.g., by employing a brominated adenine (BrA)) can improve the yield of the charge-separated state. © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
