摘要
A crystalline compound, 4Na(2)O-5SrO-16SiO(2), has been synthesised by hydrothermal sealed tube reaction using strontium hydroxide hexahydrate, silica, sodium hydroxide and water as starting materials at similar to 120 degrees C under a pressure of 14lb / in(2) for 28 h. The compound has been characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR, thermal studies and elemental analysis. Density and magnetic studies have also been carried out.
