Ocean wave guide effects on acoustic and seismic ULF propagation

摘要
Underwater wave propagation in the domain of Ultra Low Frequencies (U.L.F., between 1 and 50 Hz) is highly dependent on the underground. Three types of wave propagation are observed according to the environment and experiment configuration. After a description of these three types of wave propagation and a presentation of the means and techniques deployed, this paper is dealing with an illustration of these various situations from data which are issued from two different campaigns (Prosisma-GL1 & Rinalig). A particular attention is focused on the ocean wave guide effects in this U.L.F. frequency band. We conclude that the main ocean wave guided effect is due to the sedimentary layers.
