摘要
In this paper, a minimal and normalized ARMA lattice filter structure for the realization of arbitrary IIR digital filters is presented. The filter structure is minimal in terms of the numbers of coefficients and delays, and exhibits a high degree of structural regularity and modularity. A Levinson-type algorithm is used to compute the reflection coefficients. The magnitude of the reflection coefficients of such a stable filter is bounded by unity and consequently stability can be conveniently checked. Lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and bandstop digital filter realization examples are given.
