摘要
This study gauge the level of awareness on the revenue management practices in Community-Based Tourism (CBT) by highlighting practices or strategy of revenue management from the perspectives of homestay operators. The homestay business was strongly supported by the government over the years. As most of homestay operators are from the village areas, their knowledge on revenue management is still inaccessible. As the characteristics of homestay suggest the ability to practice revenue management, it provides an opportunity to look into this gray area as limited research had been conducted. The study is set to identify the level of knowledge regarding revenue management among the homestay operators. A qualitative approach was opted and interviews were done with several homestay operators. The study provides significant insights on revenue management knowledge as well as revenue management strategies, tactics and practices used by the homestay operators.
