Copper(I) complexes with allylammonium salts:: Synthesis and crystal structure of the [CuCl(CH2=CH-CH2-NH2•HOOCCH2CN)] π complex

摘要
The crystalline pi complex of the composition [CuCl(CH2=CHCH2NH2 . HOOCCH2CN)] (I) is obtained by ac electrochemical synthesis in an alcohol solution of CuCl2 . 2H(2)O, in the presence of allylamine CH2=CH-CH2-NH2 (L) neutralized with cyanoacetic acid NCCH2COOH (Q). The structure of the prepared complex is determined (CAD-4 diffractometer, CuKalpha radiation, 924 reflections with F greater than or equal to4 sigma (F), and R = 0.033). The crystals are orthorhombic, a = 5.8961(2) Angstrom, b = 7.2057(1) Angstrom, c = 20.8912(3) Angstrom, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), and Z = 4. Structure I is built up from the CuCl units linked together by the weak Cu...Cl bonds [2.927(1) and 2.975(1) Angstrom] along the [100] direction. The copper(I) atoms are coordinated by monodentate molecules L (C=C bond) and Q (NC group). Both the molecular (H2NCH2CH=CH2 . CuCl . NCCH2COOH) and zwitterionic (+H3NCH2CH=CH2 . CuCl . NCCH2COO-) complex forms coexist in the structure because of a disorder of the H+ proton.
