摘要
The paper presents the fatigue problem of rail rolling contact in which numerical calculation is carried out with MARC software. Two cases of the problem are investigated: 1) without crack. The two-dimension (2D) and three-dimension (3D) rolling contact models are established. The effect of velocity on rail rolling contact stress distributions is obtained by contrasting the low velocity, case with the high velocity one; 2) with crack. The 2D model with single crack or dual-crack is established. The characteristics of stress distributions and the interaction between the two cracks are emphatically studied with numerical simulation.
