摘要
A new method of synthesis of nanodispersed yttrium-aluminum garnet (YAG, Y3Al5O12) consisting in the solvothermal treatment of a mixture of the respective elements of chlorides and aluminum isopropylate in high-boiling organic solvents (diphenyloxide, oleic acid, stearic acid, and oleylamine) at 250-300A degrees C and under atmospheric pressure has been developed. Subsequent precursor treatment allows fabrication of YAG at temperatures as low as 850A degrees C. The synthesized compounds have been investigated by the methods of IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and complex thermal analysis, and electron microphotography.
