摘要
The first American species of the pseudoscorpion family Feaellidae is named from specimens collected in the Atlantic Rainforest biome of southern Brazil. The lack of specialized setae on the movable chelal finger suggests that it belongs to a new genus and new species, which we name Iporangella gen. nov. and Iporangella orchama sp. nov., respectively. The only known population of I. orchama is located near Iporanga, Sao Paulo, and juveniles of an unidentified species are recorded from Ilha da Queimada Grande.
