摘要
High pressure is a powerful tool in the development of new advanced compounds as it is thermodynamically favorable in the formation of highly compacted advanced materials like perovskite-type crystals. In particular, the compounds of correlated electron systems containing transition metals have attracted growing research interest because they manifest profound physical functions for a number of potential applications. This paper will introduce our recent work on the high-pressure synthesis and properties of a correlated electron system with novel properties. (C) 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim
