摘要：
Plant and some fungal peroxidases contain a characteristic region in their amino acid sequence which distinguishes them from other known structural and functional protein families. This region allows unambiguous identification of a peroxidase of this group by amino acid sequence alone, even in the absence of significant homology with others of the group.
