摘要
Social stratification and higher education interact each other and restrict mutually. The impace of social stratification to higher education equity outstandingly embodied as the impact of economic stratification, occupational stratification and culture stratification to higher education equity. Among them, economic stratification is the determining factor of social stratification and have the most significant impact. It is manifested as not only the starting point of higher education, but also accessing higher education and enjoy the result of high education. With the impact of perform and opening, the social structure of China has changed obviously and social stratification has become more diversity. During the reorganization and splits up of social hierarchy, the problem of higher education equity is becoming serious. In sociological theory, income, profession, degree of education and power is regarded as social resources, it is the basic condition for existence of social individual and group. Unfair allocation of higher education resources usually led to serious social contradictions especially when under fierce social competition, enlarging disparity of income distribution, complex estate differentiation and relative shortage of social productivity.
