摘要
The transport of saccharides (i.e. hexoses, pentoses and disaccharides) through supported ionic liquid membranes was examined by employing Aliquat 336 as the membrane solvent and cholic acid, methyl cholate and carix[6]arene as the carriers. In the absence of a carrier, saccharides were successfully permeated through the membrane. This transport behavior is found to obey the solution-diffusion mechanism. When calix[6]arene was used as the carrier, facilitated transport of monosaccharides was observed.
