摘要：

A series of homooxacalix[n]thiophenes (1(n), n = 3 similar to 7) was prepared from 2,5-thiophenedimethanol in a one-pot way via acid-catalyzed dehydration under mild conditions. X-Ray crystallographic analysis revealed that homooxacalix[3]thiophene (1(3)) has helical chirality in the solid state. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
