摘要
The fault detection and diagnosis is very important for a security of control systems. In this paper, the author presents a fault diagnosis technique of process based on the correlation coefficient in process variables. The process diagnosis function is defined for interrelated variables based on the correlation coefficient(multiply correlation coefficient, generalized correlation coefficient), whether the involved devices and instruments are fault is estimated according to the correlation coefficient variety. If the fault occurs, the fault location and the failure equipment are determined by logic analysis for diagnosis function value. Finally, the validity of the the method is verified with a practical engineering case.
