AODV-based routing protocol considering energy and traffic in ad-hoc networks

摘要
Each node in wireless ad hoe network has a structure to execute the function between end node and router transmitting the packet to multi-hop without any centralized administration. Under such wireless environment, each node is much restricted compared to the wired environment. Efficient energy conservation plays an important role in the performance of wireless ad hoc networks because mobile hosts in such networks are usually battery-operated. Therefore, a lot of studies have been carried out to minimize the energy consumption in order to increase the life time of mobile node at ad-hoc network. This paper is to propose a new AODV-ETRP method which improved the conventional study of RDRP (DSR-based Request Delay Routing Protocol) method. The AODV-ETRP (AODV-based Energy Traffic Routing Protocol) method takes account of the energy and traffic having the current node to get the energy load balance between the nodes in a more efficient way by delaying the,flooding. The efficiency of AODV-ETRP will be unveiled through the performance evaluation on AODV-RDRP method and AODV-ETRP method which incorporated AODV and RDRP method into AODV.
