摘要
The strategic decision-making is a crucial prerequisite for the success of any organization. At present, level of risk and uncertainty in the environment increases. The inclusion of risk factors in the decision-making process is essential. Scenario approaches are suitable for inclusion of risk. One of decision support tools are decision trees. The paper answers the question whether the decision trees are an appropriate tool for the risk strategic decision-making. The paper describes the decision trees and their essential features, their expansion of simulation approaches and sensitivity analysis. The paper describes advantages and limitations of the decision trees and provides a brief overview of the software support.
