摘要：
In the paper large-scale laboratory experiments on violent wave overtopping on vertical and inclined walls are presented, recently performed in the Large Wave Channel (GWK) of the Coastal Research Centre (FZK) in Hannover, Germany. The model set-up and measuring equipment as well as the performance of the tests are described. First results for the mean discharge volumes are presented and discussed.
