摘要
Red-orange Sm3+ doped in CaMgPO4Cl halophosphate phosphor excited at 405 nm was prepared by combustion synthesis. The structure and properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and photoluminescence (PL) technique. The photoluminescence properties were studied by taking excitation and emission spectra and gives red -orange which corresponds 4G(5/2) -> 6H(7/2) transition of Sm3+. CaMgPO4Cl:Sm3+ halophosphate phosphor may be good candidate for white LED lighting application. (C) 2016 Published by Elsevier B.V.
