摘要：

Studies to estimate the relative stability of the American cotton genotypes commonly grown in the South Indian parts of the country revealed that the partitioning the seasons + (genotype x seasons) components of variation to be significant for all the characters indicating the seasons were quite diverse with regards to their effect on the performance of the genotypes for different traits studied. Environmental index revealed that Early Kharif was found to be favourable for majority of the traits studied.
