摘要
The transition from paper-based health records to Electronic health records (EHRs) has been getting a lot of interest over the past several years, the EHR goal is to reduce costs and time and improve quality of care. However, the Security of these data remains a critical issue in digital health, considering the sensitivity of these informations. This article depicts the research for literature related to EHR and security in the Scopus database. The data gathered revealed that the year with the highest number of publications was 2015. A total of 33.98% of the documents found in Scopus were published in the United States. And Harvard Medical School was the institution with the highest output in literature. Obtaining these results is important to improve research in this area, and generally give other researchers an instant snapshot of a research field to design their work. Future work could consist of extending the research already carried out by using a search string with a larger number of publications and also extract the data from other databases and analyze.
