摘要
Magnetite films were prepared by evaporating metallic iron in an oxygen atmosphere onto substrates at room temperature. Characterization by X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopy is described. Pure magnetite was obtained when prepared in 5 x 10(-6) Torr oxygen. Negative magnetoresistance, which suggests high spin polarization of electrons, is also reported. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
