摘要：

The aim of the paper is the analyze of the connection between fiscal policy and the economic growth, using Romania's case. The first chapter presents a selective part from the literature reviewed, where we enunciated the most important theories launched in different periods of time. The second part is concentrated on the evolution of GDP growth rate in Romania in the last ten years and on the main components that influenced its trend. We focused our analysis on the impact that taxes may have on the GDP evolution in 2011-2015 period, when all European countries used different methods to recover after the collapse. In the end, we emphasized the conclusions obtained with our research.
