IR spectroscopic study of excited chemical bonds in polyethylene macromolecules

摘要
Shifts of a weak peak at the low-frequency wing of the 720-730-cm(-1) doublet in the IR absorption spectra of PE caused by changes in temperature and stress were studied. The peak was attributed tc, rocking vibrations of the CH2 groups in excited GT(m >4)G segments. The dependence of the strain of such segments on the temperature and stress was examined.
