摘要
Absorption performance is an important aspect in the study of microwave absorber. This paper presents an investigation of the effect of the selective point on the surface of absorber towards microwave absorption performance that had been applied with un-slotted and inverted triangle slotted. Four designs cardboard hollow pyramidal absorber coated with carbon had been design by using CST Microwave Studio Suite. The measurement had been successfully done by using vector network analysis and near field method at frequency 8GHz to 12GHz. From the result of this study revealed that the average of absorption performance is between -15dB to -20dB.
