Heat transfer characteristics of liquid helium with different surface width and length

摘要
The heat transfer characteristics of copper plates to liquid helium were investigated as a function of widths and lengths of rectangular surface. Samples were several types of copper plates with different widths and lengths of rectangular surface. Surface orientation was also changed from 0 degrees(horizontal) to 90 degrees(vertical) with 15 degrees interval. It was observed that the heat transfer characteristics depended on the widths and the lengths. The dependence of the heat transfer characteristics on the widths and the lengths is discussed.
