摘要
Miktoarm star-shaped polymers (MSPs) are macromolecules adorned with key units of the polymeric architecture: general morphology, well-quantified molecular weight, and chemical composition, offering a variegated array of execution. Development and simplification of the synthetic methodologies by exploiting their unique properties can elevate the potential performance of MSPs. Owing to the significant ability to tailor the characteristics of the biomacromolecules, MSPs are effortlessly implicated in the morphological-based fabrication of biodegradable assemblies possessing nano dimensions. MSPs are synthesized via three strategies: core-first, arm-first, and coupling-onto. This contribution reviews the designing and synthesizing of distinct MSPs skeletons that carry vital facets in polymer research.
