摘要
The results of investigations of the relationship between the granularity and light-sensitivity of colour photographic materials, are presented. The results obtained are substantially different from known results for black-and-white materials. The observed differences are due to quite other structure of colour photographic materials. The photographic image of colour photographic materials is obtained indirectly, because silver halide crystals serve in this case as a radiation detectors only. The colour photographic image is obtained as a result of the heterogeneous chemical reaction between the oxidation product of development substances and the dye coupler. The relative large difference of the size of silver halide crystals in comparison with the dye cloud causes that for the determined size of crystals of high sensitive materials the relationship between the granularity and sensitivity is not observed. However the increase of sensitivity above the certain value, what is related to the silver halide crystal size, causes the proportional increase of the granularity. The results of experimental investigation of this problem are presented.
