摘要：

On 29 30 September 2011, "Dialog on Poetry and Poetics: The 1st Convention of the Chinese/American Association for Poetry and Poetics" was successfully celebrated at Central China Normal University. About three hundred scholars from home and abroad got together and deeply discussed the national character of poetry and poetics, its mordern value and identity, the methods and concepts of interpretation and analysis, etc. The conference will play an active role in the development of Chinese/American poetry and poetics research, the expansion of Chinese poetry' influnce in the world, and the promotion of Chinese cultural tradition.
