摘要：

This article on the topic selection of student theses from 2010 to 2019 presents the analysis of more than 2,000 title data from six universities with library and information science programmes in Germany and Switzerland. The main focus is on the representation of public libraries, academic libraries and other institutions in these theses and which topics are chosen by students.
