摘要
This work describes observation, calculation, measurement and analysis of electromagnetic field in proximity of 300-kV Kuwaiti overhead power transmission line using the Finite Difference Method. This paper presents a physical measurement and simulation results for the complex-magnetic field components and illustrates a comprehensive and general set of Finite Difference Method equations derived from Maxwell's equation set. In previous work, the authors presented a calculation of electromagnetic field using two-point formulas. In the current work a new formulation based on three-point formulas is presented. The illustrated model demonstrates the phase relocation (Transposing) in 3-phase systems as possible alternatives to reduce the electromagnetic field effect. The resulting of mitigated magnetic field reduction is significant, however, after analysis the components of magnetic field, it has been found that the magnitude of y-component increase with applying the Transposing concept, but the total magnetic field components are decrease.
