摘要
In this study, we synthesized poly(hydroxy)urethanes by the polyaddition reaction of bis(cyclic carbonate) and diamine. Bis(cyclic carbonate) was prepared from diglycidyl ether based on bisphenol S and carbon dioxide. Thermal properties and solubilities of the poly(hydroxy)urethanes of five different diamines were compared. The thermal properties of the poly(hydroxy)urethanes depended on the structure of the diamine as well as the structure of the monomer. These poly(hydroxy)urethanes were soluble only in aprotic solvents because of the hydrophilic character of the hydroxy group. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
