摘要:
A novel technique to measure thermal transport properties of material coatings and films has been developed. The method involves excitation of thermal waves by modulated laser beam and detection with a pyroelectric detector kept at a definite distance from the point of excitation. Thermal diffusivity of the coating is derived from a phase analysis of the detected photo thermal signal with distance between excitation and detector positions. The technique has been tested with known samples. The results are presented and discussed.
