Two new compounds, 1-deoxy-1-[2'-oxo-1'-pyrrolidinyl]-2-n-butyl-alpha-fructofurano-side (1) and isoarvenin III (2), were isolated from the fruits of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim, and their structures were established on the basis of spectroscopic methods.
