摘要
Two new inorganic-organic hybrid supramolecular compounds based on Keggin-type polyoxoanions, namely [Mn(salen)(CH3OH)(2)](3)[PMo12O40] (1) and [Mn(salen)(CH3OH)(2)](3)[PW12O40](2) (H(2)salen = N,N'-ethylenebis (salicylideneimine)) have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and TG analysis. Two compounds reported herein represent the first examples of integrating metal-Schiff-base segments with Keggin polyanions characterized via single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Such hybrid materials display photocatalytic and electrocatalytic bifunctional catalytic activities. Crown Copyright (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
