摘要：

Several approaches are presented for the control of a Flexible Manufacturing System. The method of study is to first break the MS down into transportation and production sub-systems. Each sub-system is presented by using the Intelligent Decision Center (IDC) concept, then the interactions between the IDCs are shown in order to establish the different control approaches of the FMS.
