Microcontroller based distributed water hydraulic control system is introduced. This paper describes hardware design of the general purpose sixteen bit microcontroller card and the pulse counter hardware for motion control of two dimensional hydraulic table. The functional description of the distributed control, test environment and a concept of user interface development using visual software development programming tools is given in this paper, too. We also give some notes of the software development tools of the microcontroller, used as a core of the distributed control.
